GS34? Those are the worst seats at the track.

Agreed. I will do both races, but probably wouldn't if they were only a week or two apart.

how so? ever been to the track?

shortest walk to/from the metro, widest view of all the action at the hair pin, good access to concessions n bathrooms, and used to be tier 2 price. its the first grandstand that sells out every year.

im not paying for baller seats at S/F and im not walking the extra hour it takes to get there from GS34.

Well sure, I wouldn't have made that comment if I hadn't been to the track. I've sat in nearly every grandstand and GS34 would be my last choice. I don't care how far I have to walk. There are concessions and bathrooms everywhere. I want the best possible seats for viewing the race.

Has anyone attempted to book rooms for the proposed November date yet? I called Hilton (the company I work for has an office walking distance to the Hampton by the airport). They said I can't book a room that early in advance.

Any idea when people think those rooms will become available?

We had a group of about 50 guys that did the Long Beach GP every year in motor homes in the early years when it was F1. One of them called around before the date was moved and found seven booked hotels and one with rooms near downtown.

Team Red Bull........are you serious?

They just wanted to say that they were the first F1 team to drive their car on the Texas circuit.
