FIA readying
All F1 cars will be replaced with Spec Miatas. Pit crews will be restricted to one person (plus the driver). Each team will get two engines to last the entire season. That should get the budgets down.
Of course, Bernie could charge the teams less money to participate in his race series, and the drivers less money for a "superlicense". But somehow I suspect those won't be the focus of the budget reductions.

i can understand the need to keep cost down with the world economy and all,
BUT the cost to have an event is utterly ridiculous, and to cut cost the'll have to make the cars lower AND make the racing more interesting, which if you ask me doesn't make anysense
