First point second, Honestly, I have to believe, not only will we get US and Canada back because FOTA is going to have a more active say, I suspect we might even get 2 in the US. The teams have said over and over again, they WANT to be here. Regardless what some people say around here, being in the US would be good for Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault/Nissan, BMW, Toyota because they sell a crap load of product over here.
Car manufacturers want to come to the largest consumer market - adding Canada just makes sense from a cost perspective...
Concur with Rahal, small question mark over Andretti - he's been a bit erratic, hasn't he? Speed - dunno. Does he have what it takes, or was it just culture clash at STR that meant he went nowhere?
Assuming Andretti and Rahal are available for USF1...would they go? I think it's almost dead certain that USF1 will be slow for quite some time.

I suggested Speed merely for experience in F1
I saw Marco in the LMP2 Andretti Green Acura at Sebring in 2008 and he set fast lap after fast lap during his stint.
He's just bored going in circles. He always seems to perform well at the Glenn.

Just saw this:
Sir Richard Branson has signed a deal to re-name the new Formula One team Manor Grand Prix after his Virgin brand in 2010, Britain's BBC reports.
The flamboyant billionaire said at Silverstone last weekend that he is unlikely to continue sponsoring Brawn GP next year, because the Brackley based championship leaders' value has skyrocketed.
Before the former Honda team's immense success, Brandon had grand plans for Brawn, including full naming sponsorship and possibly the transfer of equity.
Those plans, however, have reportedly been simply switched to the fledgling and more affordable 2010 entry Manor Grand Prix, the collaboration of boss John Booth's F3 outfit and former Simtek chief Nick Wirth.
Along with the Virgin speculation, the BBC reports that another well known global brand will be involved with a new Formula One team in 2010.
Like Branson, YouTube co-founder American Chad Hurley was also at Silverstone, reportedly putting the finishing touches on a deal with the new US F1 team.
As the Team US F1 plans speed along, team co-founder Peter Windsor was stepped down from his role interviewing the drivers in the official post-qualifying and race press conferences, replaced by former ITV commentator James Allen.

Talking of USF1 drivers made me think...there's been no speculation as to the drivers of the other four cars. Lifeline for guys like Luizi, Senna, Klein, Davidson? Who else?

I dunno...if Danica can be convinced to run in F1, I think it'd be cool....

Danica would be foolish to move from IRL, where she's just starting to edge into the top tier of drivers, and go to NASCAR or F1 where should mostly have to start all over again.
I'm not sure Danica is right for F1, but F1 is surely right for Danica.
