Sorry if this is old news, but in researching S2000's racing world wide I came across this new series that will be run in Europe in 2007.

It does not look to have a direct relationship to our beloved car, but the engine they intend to use is a 2.0L I4 putting out 250bhp Regardless of its connection to the S, a 550kg/250bhp spec car will make for an interesting new race series. BTW, the cars only cost $100,000 Euros

the engine has 86mm bore x 86mm stroke... familar or no?

some of the Inprogress pics show the engine with a custom 'honda' valve cover.

 

Geez. So we have the Honda S2000 road car.
And the SCCA Sports 2000 (aka S2000) club racing class.
And now some Foruma S2000 open-wheel series?


F20C is 87mm bore x 84mm stroke, BTW.
