So, any chance in hell the could put test driver from team Honda in his race seat? I would love to see Anthony Davidson get a chance to compete!

Someone who isn't several seconds slower than his teammate might be a nice start. Yes, the car is slow, but Ide is way behind Sato's pace. I've never seen a driver so clearly underqualified for F1 hold a seat for this long.

And what cracks me up is why people question some of us about not liking Honda's F1 leadership role. What kind of leadership role is it to continue with Ide when clearly he does not have the pace. As someone else said a few weeks ago, what are they doing, waiting till Ide kills someone? And that's exactly what I thought of when I saw the Midland rolling over and over and ended up upside down in the gravel on Sunday.

The whole "mobile chicane" comments make no sense to me....slower cars are part of racing - always have been always will be. Drivers know how to deal with slower cars.

Drivers that are dangerous is another matter.....

Ide is an embarrassment to Honda and F1.

Sato is lucky this year....Last year he was the joke of F1, and now he has Ide to take the blame for things, and he goes unnoticed (remember when MSC taped him on the helmet last year for casuing that spin??)

i think the whole Aguri team should be suspended and kept of the track.

Sato was dangerous last year, and this year Ide is just more dangerous so Sato has been able to stay out of trouble.

Who knows, maybe Ide was trying to drift that corner and Albers just got in the way

Everyone keeps saying they should put in a better driver but the team management will only put in a Japanese driver. So at this point someone please name me a qualified JAPANESE driver that they can put in the car that has actually driven a F1 car before.......i cant think of one. I think the situation can only get worse if they throw in another japanese newb

If they can't find a driver, then they shouldn't have a team.

Ide hasn't really been in any open wheel race car before, but is that Albers' fault? If he lacks experience, the mature thing to do would be to go slow and learn, instead of almost killing people.

If he lacks experience, then the team management should get him some....rent out the FIA test track for the next three weeks and put Ide in the car 10hrs a day....that will get him some experience, at the expense of Super Aguri (who should be paying for it), NOT at the expense of Albers.

Although, if they came up to me and told me I could run in a F1 car i would drop my life to go do it....and you better bet i would be a MUCH worse driver than Ide...
