Default Ide Officially Replaced

http://www.speedtv.com/articles/auto/formulaone/23444/

Former Renault F1 test driver Franck Montagny will step up to replace rookie Yuji Ide in the second Super Aguri race seat at this weekend's European Grand Prix.
Glad to see he's finally been kicked off the track. Interesting to see how a driver who appears to have some skill and experience will do in the car compared to Sato's times. Though I would've prefered Honda had pulled someone from their already talented test team.

Even Sato is a mobile chicane, he is just a less severe one. You cannot expect anyone to keep the pace in a car with technology that old.

Good! He should be more or less on Sato's pace.

Somehow, Ide will still manage to cause an incident on the opening lap. Mark my words. It will be grand.

Team Principal Aguri Suzuki said, "We accept the advice offered by the FIA to allow Yuji (Ide) to accrue the mileage he requires to improve in Formula One during our testing days only."
