Default the Kimi Speculation continues

An insider in the Ferrari camp had told that Kimi has made a multi-year deal with the team.

Supposedly a top engineer from Ferrari's technical department had told it to Auto Motor und Sport magazine's Michael Schmidt.

Schmidt was the one who first revealed Ralf's move to Toyota as well as Mika Hakkinen's plans to return to F1.

Schmidt had told at last week's tests in Barcelona that Ferrari could already confirm Kimi's move to Ferrari but they're unwilling to handle the announcement the same way (too early) as McLaren did with Alonso.

I hope KR doesnt go to Ferrari. If he did already sign with Ferrari, does that offically mean MS is retiring/leaving? I dont see KR going to a team where he is the #2. I dont think Ferrari is a team that will give equal status.

Simon you should hope he goes to Toyota, they definately need a driver of his caliber. RS and JT are not the ticket.

A LOT of people would love it including myself..

after Button-Gate i was under the impression he's there for 2005 only.. no extension yet..heh heh .. so if he don't produce, he'll be gone and the plot will sure thicken

this just in..

there is still a remote chance Kimi may go to build Toyota.. if Schuey stays for another season with Ferrari and does not retire after this season.

"Kimi has a contract with Ferrari, but there is a possibility it will be annuled. Why?

Because Schumacher has a clause in his contract that he can veto who is his teammate and according to ferrari insiders Schumacher has made it clear that he wont accept Kimi as his teammate and has told that to Todt already.
Kimi himself doesnt mind MS being his teammate.

Chances that Kimi and MS will be teammates is 0%.

All is dependant on whether MS will retire or not.If he retires then Kimi will drive for Ferrari

If MS indeed doesnt retire and continues then Kimi will be forced to stay at McLaren or go to Toyota"

He's earned that right, I suppose.

Gotta love the Silly Season.
