Now my blood pressure is rising...

Although I'm no McLaren fan (someday I could be a Kimi fan, but as long as he is with Mercedes/McLaren no way) his rocketing up through the field points out another thing that pisses me off, the broadcast coverage as in the edit of the various camera feeds.

I've had it up to my f'ing eyeballs with non F1 people slamming F1 because there is no passing. THAT'S COMPLETE BS! There is passing but you can't tell because when someone is busy slicing their way up through the field like Kimi did the damn editor has the camera on some dolt like Sato.

Every country has their own TV crew, so you get to a country that has a driver running and that countryman can be crawling around at the middle or the back of the pack while world champion contenders are dueling it out, and the damn feed shows the local countryman driving around doing nothing.

Do you support the one engine for 2 races rule?
Do we have Sato to blame for this rule?

I agree - KR passed up the whole field and I can't remember seeing one of his passes at all

Way to go FOM.

Do you think the 10-position setback is ok, too much, too little?
What other thoughts, any?
I don't like the rule because it penalizes the wrong "entity". The driver gets penalized when I think it should only be the constructor that gets penalized.

I think the should grid normally, then 3 or 4 points are subtracted from the Constructor championship points only - not the driver.

in general, i don't understand the reasoning behind SO many rules in the first place....it's annoying.

they got a rule for every god damn thing you could think of.....

they should just go back to race what you brung....and be done with it.

so, MS could have the best chassis/car, the most skill, and not win, because he has the burden of running a previously raced motor....how is that sport?

or is the FIA only going for the ILLUSION of sport?
Amen brother!

What I find most frustrating is you can't really tell how a team in doing year to year now...is it the team or the freaking stupid rules????

Yup, and Kimi is nothing special, this has happened countless of times with other drivers and the TV coverage was poor then too.
