Good news for McLaren, and good to see Heikki putting in some quick times too. Early days yet though...I'm anxious to see quali tomorrow night.

Heikki didn't have the revised wing or diffuser Hamilton had. To be honest...this really isn't a downforce track if you look at it....so it may be just a Merc power thing. I mean even Force India put in some good results.

Quali is where its at anyway....just ask Nico.

Actually compared to the final times in practice 2, they were not really fast at all. Bcubed is still the team to beat without a doubt right now.

The Red Bull cars, with no tricky diffuser are sure fast.
And I love the fact that Adrian Newey created that body with a pencil and paper.
Adrian does not use a CAD system, he does the drafting with old school tools, and then has the young kids get it into the computer.
And a Vintage member, I'm damn proud of Adrian for that!

Yeah, doh. Heikki was quicker of the two and not running the interim diffuser...maybe it's bunk for now.

Speaking of Newey's design of this year's car, the RB5's nose bodywork reminds me of the Predator's face!

Both are BADASS.

Newey's working on a diffuser, his rear wing design already has a diffuser effect so the added bonus of the double diffuser element should make the RedBull cars the one to watch for the European stretch.
