What do y'all think? Part of me thinks that RD would prefer seeing Ferrari win than to see Fernando take the #1 to another team with him.

Wow, that's a weird idea, interesting, I suspect the only thing in RD's mind is getting any of his driver's to win the title.

Well, as you know, FA has been complaining that Maclaren has been tampering with his car since Fuji.

I hate McLaren, but I don't think RD is crazy enough to let a DC slip away from one of his regardless of the situation. But its going to be difficult for FA or KR to win it, the odds are in LH's favor, but as seen on Sunday, anything can happen

No way do I see RD helping Ferrari in any way win the WDC. I think he is going to put all his marbles behind LH.

Do you see FA possibly taking out LH if he's not in a position to win the championship, so KR would win and prevent LH and McLaren from winning? I think FA would rather see KR than LH win the driver's championship if he himself can't (gain the point spread necessary to win).

A driver deliberately crashing into another driver in F1? That would never happen. Why, you might as well call it NASCAR, right?

(Well maybe almost never. Except for those Prost/Senna/Schumi/etc. guys who kind of sort of did it before....)

One rogue mechanic and that's all she wrote for Fred. Damn it the wife booked our semi-annual surf trip to Hawaii on the 19th this month. I'll have the race Tivo'ed but won't be able to see it for 2 weeks after.

Something that has not been spoken of, but F1 is very racist more so in some regards than NASCAR. A black driver winning a WDC is not thought of well. Read some of the Euro or Asian web sites to see what I mean.

Ron Dennis is one of the most upstanding decent people in F1. He is one of the last of a dying breed. He would not permit tampering with things to affect the outcome of the Championship.

Even if you think RD is dishonest, you have to agree that he wouldn't take the chance of messing with anything after this year's happenings.

Also keep in mind that RD oversaw a number of #1 drivers as teammates over the years. He knows how to stay neutral.
