Wink Montreal GP back on - confirmed!

I am a self-proclaimed F1 fan who has YET to witness a F1 weekend in person especially there has been a race in my "backyard" for years!! I felt stupid when it was gone in 09, now it's coming back in 10 - I shall attend!! With luck, I'll be able to see JV in action and with even more luck... maybe even MS in action too

Not sure about MS & JV but we are all lucky to have Montreal back on the calendar. Enjoy your first F1 race. For me it was very special

I spent part of the day on Orbitz looking for accommodations. I think we're going to make an actual vacation out of it. We might not even attend all of every session of the weekend.

You found good deals on accommodations so far?

Are the race weekend tickets even on sale yet? How much ahead should I make the bookings, etc.?

^ I don't really know; this is my first trip to Canada for the race. I haven't found great deals, but I assume prices will rise as hotels become aware of the weekend's significance.

Did I fail to see the date of this race mentioned in the articles?

What sites / companies should I be buying the race tickets from? I searched and found few sites offering tickets and even packages... but who/what is the official tickets seller for F1 races?

Never done this before and don't want to buy fake/wrong tickets or real ones for the wrong prices. Please advise
