tickets were $232.79 plus taxes and fees each. The link on here dosent work for me, but I did compare to other random sites selling tix, price was lower, but im sure they make up for that with the taxes and fees($52.40). Total for 2 tix was $517.98

I just checked there, the GS33 ticket is listed for $225 so what you were charged for is in the ballpark. Enjoy!!

You all talking about receiving tickets, grandstands - it's all adding to the excitement!

Just over 2 weeks until it all starts again in Bahrain!!!

I'm in Grandstand 11; Section 7; Row F

Those of you who printed a voucher, was there a service fee for this option? I think I may make a phone call to these guys.

EDIT: For delivery method, my tickets are listed as "Pick up at the box office" or "Box Office". I didn't see anything about a voucher. I guess I'll be okay.

Thanks for the info So the first 26 rows (counting from bottom) go like AA, BB, CC, ... ZZ. I was told about bottom row is AA but was never explained if it goes like AA, AB, etc. haha... thanks

My 2 seats are in GS1 (TRIBUNE 1), section3, row CC. So my seats are in the 3rd row then... anyone knows if that would be too low at GS1?

Does the "section" number mean anything?

Also how do the seat numbers are arranged then? Is the seat (at GS1 at least) closest to start/finish line numbered 1?

so freaking stoked!!!!
question to anyone has experience taking pictures at the races. While I do NOT expect to be able to take pictures of the official photographers quality, I do hope to be able to capture some moments with my very own equipment by my own hands

I really do not intend to turn this into a photographic equipments/technologies/techniques debate, so I am going to frame my shot (word my question ) in simplest terms

I am planning to use a Nikon DX format (crop factor 1.5) DSLR capable of 7fps with a 70-300 F4.5/5.6 VR lens. From where my seats are (see above, GS1 3rd row from bottom), assuming a bright and sunny Summer day during the race weekend, do you know if the combo will be telephoto and fast enough to capture some good stills of the F1 cars racing down the straight?

It's getting closer. I got an email from the ticket outlet. Anyone upgrading to mail for free?

[QUOTE]PICK UP AT THE BOX OFFICE:

Your tickets will be available at the box office of the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on the morning of the event or few days in advance when the office will be installed on the site. The date and opening hours will appear on the website when it will be decided.

i think i waited a bit too long to buy my FLIGHT tix.

anyone got any tips on getting there? flying from los angeles. is flying into a neighboring city, renting a car and keeping the car all weekend better?

i'll probably fly in thursday. leave monday. but im flexible.

update: well i bought my ticket from LAX to Montreal and back to washington DC where family is. came out under $500, and i know i can get a cheap 1 way back, which would be less than what i would have paid for just a round trip.

cant wait til JUNE!

If anyone wants a hotel room to stay right in downtown Montreal downtown for the race weekend do let me. Contains 2 queen size beds. Place is called McGill New Residenc Hall. It is presently sold out.

Price would be exactly what I paid for it i.e. $336.00 CAD

I had booked everythign well in advance (in January) but now won't be able to make it which sucks big time and they are refusing to refund me anything.
