Semi-offical ALMS thread
^^ So does this mean you have not gotten pregnant yet?
I ain't camping with out a DAMN good reason... and the only reason good enough would have to include something I need another person for
And now since I don't have decals I would have to buy a ticket which I can not afford either. And no one wants a plus one for the weekend

As I had no F1 to go to this year I thought last winter I would do a Lime Rock or a Mid-Ohio ALMS camping trip to fill in the gap. The problem was tyhey were too close to my driving school at Mosport coming up 7/21-7/22. But, based upon the house needing a new roof and shingles being made out of gold nowadays I cancelled my Mosport plans, and camping at Mid-Ohio would have been a very real option.
Enjoy the race, Mid-Ohio is one of my favorite tracks, bot as a driver and a spectator. I have camped there many, many times going back to the IMSA Gamel GT and Firestone Firehawk days.
Well, you know, you've still got a few days before the race...
Here is the information..
Pete (Pgarrett) has spent countless hours working on this... I really hope we do this one "right", and it becomes an annual event (similar to what Florida has for the St.Pete race).. What I enjoy even more about this weekend is that it has Indy, ALMS, Speed World Challenge, GT3 , etc..
Hope you can still load up the truck and come out for the weekend

FYI - don't know how many of you watch IRL, ALMS and F1, however the networks have conspired this week so you can not Tivo all 3, they overlap on times
The best I came up with was to tape ALMS & IRL on Sunday and go for the repeat of F1 shown on Wednesday.
I am gone from Friday until Wed anyway so it's not a problem for me to wait until then
