On Thur 3/19 at 7pm is a pre-season ALMS show, on Speed.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing the Acura LMP1 this year. In fact LMP1 in 2009 looks like it could be the most exciting in the ALMS for quite some time.

is it just me or does that gulf colour scheme makes almost any race cars look awesome.

 

Almost, but it always seems most at home on a GT40 or Porsche 917.

The new Aston Lola does look great though!

 

I want to get to July 17-18 at Lime Rock or August 06-08 at Mid-Ohio

 

I'll be at LB, Lime Rock and hopefully Mid OH. PM me if you make it to Lime Rock, NYC Metro should have a good size convoy up to the race. Plus you'll get to meet GPMike.

I used to love driving Mid-Ohio, and I camped there for many a Camel Continental. Primarily I'm looking to replace my camping trip at Indy F1, and I've never been thrilled with camping at Lime Rock.

Plus, if I do Mid-Ohio, I can stop in and see my Grandfather's old MG TC racecar, and check out the Allard J2 that has just been added to the collection.
