Default Super Aguri on its death bed?

i think this is aguri's fault! if he started selling his team merchandise earlier and distribute it farther afield, he could have gotten a few more days of operating cash...oh hell like that's going to help...

I think its SS United's fault. They failed to pony up the money for the rest of the sponsorship contract a while back.

Please. Aguri has been on the rocks the last 2 seasons. I hope they bounce, then it will open up a slot for a newer team which may be more competitive. Honestly its getting a little boring to see the same teams getting run over every race, Honda included.

lets all make some donations and save them. how many s2k's are on s2ki? if we all donate $20, we might raise enough money to pay for the fuel for 1 of their transporters?

I hope they stay, they did great last year with the lowest budget of any other team. Besides, no need for them to leave, there are already a maximum of 12 team slots and ProDrive couldn't even get it together for the final slot.

i wonder if Prodrive considered a purchase. i know they were working with McLMerc on a chassis and engine deal, not Honda, but this would be like getting your foot in the door and work the details later.

where's P. Diddy when you need him? didnt he want to buy a team?

There are several notable teams I can name off the top of my head that deserve a shot in F1 and I would put money that they would run circles around Honda. To start Minardi, Jordan GP, and Carlin. Most notably Direxiv.

No I'm not picking sides, I love Honda as much as the next guy but I think that others should be given a shot at it if the others can't hack it. Honda (Aguri) has gone nowhere since they were introduced in 06'. They have 3 top ten finishes (2 under 10) in 3 years. One or more of their cars has retired in 23 out of the 38 races they have completed. Do you need more convincing?? Aguri should go hang around with the minor leagues for a few years, reorganize their team, finances, and then make another run for F1. In the meantime let other proven teams have a shot.

As much as I love Kimi and Ferrari I'm all about having more and better competition in the Formula 1 Circuit. Aguri just dosen't cut it competition wise. I'd love to see Direxiv come in as the Junior McLaren team.
