Default Televised S2000 Races...

I was watching GrandAm racing yesterday, and I was wondering if there are any televised races here in the U.S. that have any S2000's in them? The Grand am series has 350z's and RX8's to name a couple, but I didn't see any S2000's on the results rosters. I understand that NascarChannel - ehem, sorry, Speedchannel doesn't cover all road course races, but do any of you know where/when/how to catch televised events with an S?

none.. i've checked 'em all..

only in the Japanese touring car series, but you need a funky satellite dish hook up and lots of time.. it was well worth it , s2000's , nissans, mr2's and 350z's..

What satellite provider and network?

At least the S is being raced somewhere at that level. You would think such a purposebuilt car would be raced professionally more often.

pirated satellite on wild feeds.. that's why i mentioned "lots of time"
completely hit and miss.. my next door neighbour gets it right sometimes and I run over

from the Japan series, (which went from japan touring car to nowadays called supergt.net) , i don't think the s2000 is raced as often anymore.

dunno why ? more nsx's , supra's and even an exige as opposed to s2000's..

and here's the kicker .. Team Honda Racing uses an NSX.. heh heh

which is linked to what was the former japan touring car series , which is now called super gt http://www.supergt.net

good racing but never on here in North America.

you may want to buy the different publications or magazines that are available. Really informative to the local japanese racing scene. Avail at most jdm tuning shops.

SCCA Runoffs, which will be televised on Nascarvision sometime in the coming year will probably have two S2000s in the T2 class. They actually televised quite a bit of the runoffs coverage last year so it's just a matter of finding when the T2 race will air.

Other than that, the only time I've seen an S2000 televised at the races is when they use them for pace cars at many events.

Thanks guys! I'll keep my eye out.

NascarVision, NascarChannel, NascarTV - I just can't keep it straight!

(The last straw was when they cut the coverage of The Isle of Man races this year in favor of MORE NASCAR )

Motorsports Mundial, which airs at 4:30 AM here on Nascarvision, has had a ton of Isle of Man TT coverage. Those guys are truly insane.

The Nascar crap is way out of hand though. 6 hours of USAR Hooters Pro Cup every Saturday night Rednecks on parade. Good thing Tivo saves me from having to watch that drivel. I'd be on suicide watch without it.

NASCAR owns the Grand-Am series, right? At least we can be pretty sure they will continue to televise that one.
