Geez, the only thing I liked in there was the power boost feature. And that's only good if the engines are as evenly matched as they are in A1 GP. Next thing you know they'll be adding weight to the winning cars...

I don't mind the turbo sixes, however placing a 770hp limit has me bummed. The four while drive is also ok, I'd like to see what F1 engineers/designers come up with. However placing the 10k rpm redline goes against everything that is F1.

F1 to me denotes screaming motors, the wonderful smell of petrol & burning rubber and wickedly twitchy(yet stable) cars.

These rules will eliminate most if not all of the prestige of F1. They're just turning it into yet another damn spec series.

Bernie HAS GOT to go!!!

That article has me so depressed I have to go home and drink. Hmmm, I think I'll put on the French GP from 2004, the one where MS reached down deep, pulled out a 4-stop pit strategy, and won. As far as I'm concerned, the untimate F1 Ferrari MS race.

Oh, and Bernie, if you are out there, please take your money and run, stop trying to destroy F1. Your old, you have lost the vision.

I'll have to dust off my VHS archives for that one.

umm I thought that Formula 1 was supposed to be THE pinnacle of automotive motorsports.. AWD cool, no areo umm we'll see what AWD does, turbo V-6 on bio-fuel with kinetic energy recovery system cool I'm liking that.. But why make it pertain to road vehicles?? They have enough of those kind of series: Rally, SCCA, DTM, list goes on. I always though F1 was for manufacturers to show off what their engineers could do.. a V-10 that revs to 19,000 RPM, who would have ever though. uhhhhh I need a drink.

Wish i'd have seen that race and/or have it on tape/dvd but I was so busy in 2004 that I missed quite a few races.
