Around top gear test track in a Renault F1.

 

We took someone who thought he was all that after going to one of the indoor karting tracks and gave him seat time in my Superkart. He couldn't even launch the thing and when we did a rolling start to help him he went off track his first 3 laps. When he stayed on track, he was part throttle and locked tires when he slammed on the brakes into corners requiring no braking

Another buddy a lifelong "motorcycle rider" rode my turbo Busa at no more than 1/4 throttle when he rode the canyons with me, nothing but excuses when we downloaded his "riding data"

This is why F1 has less than 50 people in the world who currently hold Super Licenses and only a hand full of men who can get all the performance out of a current car. Imagine if he was driving a 08 F1 car that has no drivers aids like the old car he was in. I think he did very well with the limited seat time he was offered, much better than any armchair driver could to him for the chance to do what he did.

I have no expectations of doing well, but I'd LOVE to have the opportunity to drive a high-end formula car.
