What benefit is there to big manufacturers spending the money on F1 now? It used to be a place where new technology was tested that eventually filtered down to road cars. Now, it's becoming more and more of a spec racing league.

I love F1, but this frozen engine crap and super tight regulations are making a mockery out of it.
Not to mention the idiotic fact that the FIA has pulled North American races ignoring the car manufacturers biggest market - then the FIA has the balls to say that the manufacturers pull out whenever they feel like it (which is of course their right anyway....).
