We should meet up, not sure if I'll be in the S or the R, but we'll be close to the road in that P1A lot. Stayed across the street in that mess last year, didn't like that quite as much, having to walk 200 yards to get to a porta-pottie sucks.
This was our site in '05, I didn't own both of the cars then, do now.
Is it June yet?
Oh my, we were close! going from that road towards the porta potties I'm in like the 2nd row over from the road. I know where those trees are because there are so few in that lot.
I suspect it will be very easy for you to find me, although this is my set up at Watkins Glen and not Indy, this is indeed what you will be looking for, although I think I'm going to replace the canopy this year so it may indeed be a different color, but the Big Red Beast will be the same.
Paddock Press Penthouse - the BEST seats short of being inside an airconditioned suite. Indy can be extremely hot during that time of the year, and I don't care to roast under the sun, and there's only 2 rows of seats.
The S2K crew here in Indy had a spot in parking lot 2 last year, a great pit stop for all. not sure about this year though.
Im going this year, the 6 car mess was my first year going. Cant wait to see a full grid.
Would anyone else here like to see the USGP held somewhere else? Indy's a good track but I think VIR or Road America would be awesome tracks to host F1.

I would like the US to get 2 GPs, 1 should stay at Indy, and the other can be out in California or someplace to the west.
The problem with finding a venue is not so much the quality of the track or a tracks ability to come up to FIA standards; it's the infrastructure around the track. I don't think you will find many people willing to argue against Road America being a fantastic track, however there is no way in hell it could happen because there is nothing around Elkhart Lake, it's a rural setting. This is F1 we are talking about, 5-star restaurants and hotels have to be close to the track so people don't have to drive hours to and from the track. Even the great track Watkins Glen could never make it happen again because there is nothing around the track but a very nice little village.
