Just curious as to what drivers make. I'm wondering what F1, F3, champ, karts.....Make.

Sorry if I missed something, but please add them in.

Thanks.

"The best way to make 1 million dollars in racing is to bring 5"
-I can't remember

The pay scale goes from negative 100's of thousands all the way up to Michael Schumacher of which about 99% of racers are in the negatives.

How fast are you?

You most love the sport if you plan on making a career of it. Let alone if you have a family.

It's a good thing I have other skills that pay the bills.

Most drivers have to bring money to get a ride. If they can't provide sponsorship, the team finds someone else who can. Only a very few at the very top of the very top series actually get paid. And they get paid a lot.

If you want to drive in Gran-Am Cup races, you'll have to pay about $10k to $50k per race, depending on the team. That's to just show up and drive.

Yes, I know some people who will be driving in the Rolex 24 hour race. I think they are paying about $20K each. And of course there is no guarantee that the car won't be crashed out the race on the first lap.
