2001 Silverstone silver restoration and track day fun build

any progress? or just driving her and having fun? bit curious...
Not sure why 'builds' like these on neglected cars interest me way more than some of those 'mega budget' builds you see here....

New parts for clutch replacement:
Act prolite flywheel and the rest is oem.
New bearing of course:
New parts in:
I also cleaned and reassembled prop shaft cv-joints. On back end joint the grease was very thin so probably this was a good idea.

I ordered Enkei pf01 wheels on winter which had three month delivery time. After 2 months of waiting I was told that someone messed up and wheels were never even ordered from factory I asked price for these OZ wheels and they were about 100€ more expensive, but delivery time was one week, so I got the OZ:s.
These are OZ Alleggerita Hlt:s in star silver colour.
Specs: 17x7.5 et48 at front and 17x8.5 et59 at rear. About 7kg / wheel so really light.
Tyres: Federal 595 RS-R 225/45 and 255/40
Car is running very nice now and clutch feels super smooth. I only notice lighter flywheel when changing gear. Rpm:s drop quicker.

Summer went too fast as always in Finland. Lots of sunshine and unusual hot temperatures was nice for convertible owners.
Track day at Ahvenisto race track:
On summer holiday I went to Italy to see F1 Monza GP
We also went to Modena and Maranello to see Museum Enzo Ferrari and Museum Ferrari.

Video of my fastest lap so far at Ahvenisto race circuit (Finlands green hell). Fun track, but a bit scary. This was first time when I was filming my driving. Lots of things to improve. Car feels nicely balanced, just little unstable under braking, but not bad at all.

Time for small update.
I had plans what I had to work on car wintertime, but I couldn't store it in the place where it was in earlier winters. I couldn't find new place where I could work on it, so I just left it in storage were I have no access in wintertime.
I have been bit frustrated that I haven't been able to work with the S, but I have bought my own garage what should be ready in April so looking forward to that.
After few not so snowy winters this time we had lot of snow in Finland.
This is my "daily" (wich is on sale) Golf mk5 gti after not touching it in two weeks:
