Great work Rick! Are you going to remove the softop plastic tub for the sub on this car? I just did it on mine, and it sounds so much better like that. Cant wait to see the project develop.
I still have a lot of plans for this car but going to concentrate on finishing the stereo setup first. Yes we removed the plastic tub piece on my Rio s2000 and will do the same for this car. It's a troublesome piece that really serves no purpose except rattles like hell and blocks any bass. By removing it you kill 2 birds with one stone

It looks really good
Why are there two different rims in the pics though?

UPDATE: 4/23/10
Spent the better part of 6 hours finishing up my door speakers and amp wiring.
Hardware added:
1) Alpine PDX-F6 amplifier
2) Focal Power Component Speakers
3) Active Crossovers
4) 3000k Amber LED hood lights
Still have to build the amp board and finish the trunk layout which is TBA. Not sure how I want to display everything but trunk space is still the main goal to fit my bowling bag.
I'm running the Focals at full range for now til I finish building the mock-up subwoofer enclosure. Want to do something different so not sure if I'm going with dual JL 8w3's or triple JL 6w3s for the sub setup. With a combination of dynamat and the Focal sealed in a custom enclousre running 150 watts per side the sound is pretty awesome. I would say for 80% of the population this is as lond as you ever need in the s2000. It can drown out any engine or exhaust noise and you can actually feel your pant legs vibrating from the bass coming from the door panels!
Now I need to finish up the plexi radio door...so many things to do still
