Dressed2Kill's changing things up thread!
I sent the valve cover back to the vendor I had neochrome it, there were a couple of flaws in it so they are going to redo it for me. The last part I am getting neochromed is a part that has been missing from my car for the last 2 years, and I can't wait to get it back. It took a lot of hard work and creativity on the vendor's part to neochrome an item this big.
The reason for the long wait:
In Feb of 2011 I sent the parts along with a freinds 2JZ parts to Dipped parts, I knew it would be 8 months to a year for them to get to them.
Around march or april of 2012 my friend who has been handling this for me leets me know Dipped parts still has not touched our items. So he contacts SSR to have them pick the parts up from Dipped parts. I was expecting the parts back around July of 2012.
When I had not seen the parts by August of 2012 I contacted SSR myself only to find out that my frind had never sent SSR any $$$$ and they were about to sell my parts.
I sent SSR their asking price for the parts in October of 2012 which was alot more than I thought I would have in these parts but it was the only way I would get me parts back.
Locking back it was worth it tho, the parts look great and they were happy to redo the valve cover for me.

Interesting read, the parts look stunning. I wonder how it's all going to look together. As incredibly beautiful as the finish is, too much of something stunning can sometimes detract from the intended effect.
Tuned in to see how it all progresses. Thanks for sharing.

How the heck did you get that in a week! i have been waiting on my 60mm dual for a month and a half and im sure it'll be another month before i receive it! >.<
^I can't wait to see yours after the lengthly build you have put it through...
I ordered my new exhaust on a Thursday and it arrived from Japan on the following Wednesday. EMS is awesome, it take 5 days to get parts from cali shipped ground.

Its a J's 70rs dual EMS (3 piece) version. I got the S/S this time over titanium because it was only 7-8 lbs heavier, but was alot easier on the wallet. I have payed over $2K for an exhaust before and do not desire to do it again.

I don't think many people have the 70rs dual, I could not find many pictures of it or any sound clips. With a test pipe it is about as loud as my old amuse R1 60mm single was, which is perfect. The car feels just as fast as it did with the R1000 on it.
