Performed a compression test, installed some new plugs, and removed the valve cover to check the retainers.
The retainers looked ok, but I'm going to replace them anyway for peace of mind.
Here are the results of the compression test:

Other maintenance items that need to be addressed:
VTEC solenoid seals
• Pads and rotors
• Radiator, Thermostat and all coolant and heater hoses
• A/C doesn't work
• Serpentine belt and pulley bearings
• Valve cover gasket and tube seals
• Retainers and valve adjustment
• Tie rod end boots torn
• AP2V1s and tires
• New soft top

Nothing major, just par for the course for a car with 182k miles

Here's what the rear pads looked like, fronts were pretty much down to the backing plates:

Great way to put the car in excellent condition!

Either your engine oil dipstick is in backwards or mine is...

Took the cowl off today to replace the wiper motor because it wouldn't park in the correct spot.
Couldn't ignore the filthy cabin filter so that got replaced too

Some do like this to prevent it popping up with crankcase psi

I'm not sure the dipstick goes the same depth in the oil sump turned backwards. If it does then it doesn't matter. The O-rings are replaceable and may keep a dipstick from escaping.

Knocked out some more maintenance items. Koyo rad, both radiator hoses, thermostat, oil cooler hoses, and an oil change.

Both the radiator hose connections under the intake manifold were so much fun

Swapped out the faded plastic window top for a robbins cloth top with glass rear window.
Took about 6hrs doing it myself. Not a job I want to do anytime soon, but not as bad as its made out to be.
Just have to warm it up in the sun so I can close it later today.
Also swapped out the soft top strikers for hard top ones.
