Let's do this.

The moment I've been waiting for, I finally have a Recaro Pole Position in my posetion and the best part is it's in Jersey Red! Huge shoutout to azncandyman on here for dealing with me to get this seat to me. He took the time to buy a box and run around town to get the best possible quote for me. I also bought a Buddy Club rail to go with it, and I should have the seat belt extender ariving in the mail soon. But anyways, less talking more Recaro...

I paired it with a Buddy Club rail. Don't mind the seat belt receptacle, I moved it once it was in the car and have a seat belt extender on the way.

Bam!

I honestly could not be happier, I love the seating position and how I now sit substantially lower in the car.

No I don't have a passenger seat nor do I plan on getting one as I simply cannot afford spending another $1100 on a seat for an occasional passenger to use. As much as I wish they would match, I'll simply have to live with it.

check kijiji im shure i seen a reckyard close to toronto that had red s2000 seats on there in november ???

I'll probably just get a Clazzio seat cover, they're $299 for all red ones. But thanks!

Don't worry about the seat rail. I've had 3-4 over the last 5-6 years and never had issues with any of them and I'm your size.

What position do you have your seat, Steve?

I tried getting the lowest possible position so I put the long brackets on the front and the short ones on the back. I'm on the top hole in the rear and the 2nd to the bottom in the front. I feel like I can't lower the rear any further otherwise the seat will hit the carpet before the rails touch.

I had read about the failures in the buddy club rails as well, I have had mine now for probably 4-5 years now with no issues. I do periodically check on them when I remember to. That seat looks great in there! The jersey material is so much nicer than the standard.

I think I have mine in the top hole on the short bracket and then in the middle hole on the longer one. So basically both are at what I would call level 3. You don't need it to go any lower than that really.

I'll take a look at it in the morning to confirm.

Not to rain on your parade but did you hear of the Pole Position safety issues and Recaro's announcement?

Seat Failure

I only mention it because I have a set in my car as well. Wondering what other owners plan to do about it
