Got ready to cut the hood and did a test fit to see where the timing was needed... And it fit. No rubbing...

Car should be on the dyno by Wednesday. Let's guess numbers! Anything over 400/350 and I'll be happy.

Well dyno day is done and the this car hurts feelings. Mainly my own... Car made 387/388. I don't think the heads were ported as I was told by the seller... So that's a project for the upcoming winter. The car actually made 396 on one pull, but unfortunately that was because the accessory belt popped off. So now I know an alternator and water pump delete are only good for about 9hp.

LS3?

Beside an awesome look and sound, what did the ITB's do compared to stock power?

Stock F bodies typically make around 300 rwhp through the t56 on a dynojet so I've gained almost 90rwhp from the cam and ITBs. The throttle response and sound were the main goals of the ITBs bit they obviously are going to flow better than a typical plastic intake.

And no, I won't be going with an LS3 lol. I still want to be able to use the car as intended by Honda so I'm not looking for unholy amounts of hp/torque. I'll probably port the heads and get some long tubes to get me over 400 and be done with power mods. The rear end already likes to get squirrely when I go WOT.

In other news, car is going to be wrapped next week!

I asked if Ls3, because your making about that power now. 426 engine hp/LS3? With your intended future mods you will be exceeding an ls3.

Ls7/505hp?

Yeah really broad and flat trq curve. The rpm limit is quite short though, coupled with stock s2k gearing would not make best use of this engine at all. Need some pretty drastic lower rear end gearing to get some mph between each gear. I don't know what the T56 gear spread is like compared to S2k trans, which may help some in that endeavor, don't know.

T56 gearing is not as close as the S2000 box and is much taller comparatively speaking. I can actually use first gear, even though I don't need to, with the T56 despite the stock rear end gearing. Although if/when I grenade the rear diff I'll be going with a puddymod diff with a bit taller ratio, somewhere around 3.9. We tried bumping the rev limit to 7k but the engine didn't much care for it so we left it at 6.5k. I'm tossing around the idea of upgrading the valvetrain when I get the heads ported to get more revs. Maybe one day it'll rev to 8k lol
