Nice to hear you've gotten into a GT4, and still love the S2000. So many owners aspire to own more expensive, faster cars, and often sell their S2000s as a result. It's refreshing to see someone appreciate the S2000 for what it delivers behind the wheel, and understand that, no matter how much money is spent elsewhere, those thrills cannot be replicated with another car.

I'm still not 100% sold on the GT4. I mean it's a fantastic car, but it doesn't really have an interesting driving character. It's just easy, fast, and smooth. Like perfect "german engineering". It has no soul. Everyone looks at me when I park it around town and probably has the same thoughts that I have when I see a Porsche owner.
Yea it doesn't really matter, but it doesn't really fit my character. But I'm not sure what is a better fit for me. I do want my "other" car to be a bit more modern and safe (no air bags in my s2k), with a bit more power than the S2000, but still engaging and tons of fun to drive. The GT4 fits that bill. The only other cars that interest me right now is an elise/exige (which would be less comfortable than my S2K) and a 996 GT3. As much as I hate the Porsche image, I think rear engine cars are tons of fun and a good challenge.
Definitely my favorite build thread here. Photos are awesome. Track footage is the best i have seen with all of the overlays, foot well cam and everything. The unbiased appreciation of cars for track use is extremely refreshing.
You should look for a 996 GT3 owner and swap cars for a track session, and possibly offer to trade... hehe. My bro got a 996TT about 2 years ago. I wish he got a 996 GT3 instead - but he likes torque, power, and the curves on the wide body of the TT. That said, Chris Harris has said the 996TT is his favorite TT to drive (versus 997 and 991).

your S2k looks great and the photos make it even nicer. Your GT4 is also jaw dropping. Glad you are able to own and enjoy both. I wish i had the time and the money to do the same. I daily Drive a Honda Fit lol but that 1 day a week i drive the s2000 is worth the wait. Even if its driving the flat boring streets of Miami i also have a smile on my face when i drive the S2000.
