Thanks guys. I'm ordering all the parts myself, but getting reimbursed partially from insurance so I'm just going to get everything new and oem. Figure I have less risk of things getting messed up with an oem bumper and metal fenders. Going to get the fenders rolled/pulled before paint so it should be better.

It's done wonders for my car control over the years. Best car/driving tool investment I've ever made.

car looks great! and so does that garage floor! Were the v8 m3s prone to spun bearings? Was there a particular year? I was fumbling the idea of getting into one later down the road but have a hard time thinking of even selling the s2k, its been dead reliable, drives and handles like a dream. Do you think the spun bearing was due to all the track driving you did?

The bearing issue happens in all years. Doubt it has anything to do with the track since a lot of guys with way more track days than me have no issues. It seems like a ramdom occurrence. My bearings started going bad after 16k miles and that was before any track time. They got replace and then the car ran fine until 60k miles.

My Radium Engineering Catch can is here as well as a Mugen Wheel and Works Bell hardware. Also got a call from Blacktrax that my baffled oil pan is ready to go. Mugen AP2 Exhaust arrives on monday. Can't wait to get all this stuff on the car! Ooh and just got word that my Kinetic Customs Shorai battery bracket has just shipped so I can finally install that light weight battery as well.

As far as the repairs go, I got everything ordered brand new from Honda (including a new driver side fender and headlight housing) since they have to repaint anyways. I plan to get the fenders rolled before paint. I ordered a new driver side headlight housing because I have a lot of rock chips on the current one. I plan on clear bra'ing the whole front end of the car after paint. Still hoping to finish before thunder hill on the 29th of this month.

Nice pick up with the Mugen wheel and Works Bell, Always liked that wheel with the thumb indents.
Any chance you could get a rough weight of that combo before you install? (SCCA is making dumb rules and if I change the stock wheel the new stuff needs to weigh the same or more, Andrewhakes Momo/ASM setup is 3 lbs so Im thinking this is not far off but curious to know how much more/less this combo is)

Are you painting the hardtop or keeping it wrapped since its going to the body shop?

I'll try to remember to weigh it when I visit my friend's shop. I don't have a scale to accurately measure at home. I really really want to paint this hard top, but I want to spread the funds a bit and not do too much at once. And there's a small chance that I might find a Berlina Black HT locally in good condition and I'd rather buy one of those and sell this white one.
