Got some work done this weekend. Car is dirty and desperately needs a wash/detail but wanted to get some quick pictures up of the new wheel color and the freshly installed F1 Spec type 5 bucket.

Wheels - Used 5-6 coats of black plasti dip and 3-4 coats of glossifier per wheel. The color is kinda strange and is a combination of black, grey, and dark blue up close. Im really happy with how they turned out. Also added brushed aluminum extended lugs and kept the center caps and valve stem polished. Underneath I painted the calipers gloss black and added silver "S2000" front caliper stickers.

Buckets - Got 1 of my 2 red F1 Spec Type 5 buckets installed this weekend. Went back and forth on what rails I wanted to use but decided to modify the OEM rail. By combining the OEM sliders and a set of 1 piece sidemounts, I was able to retain the stock sliding mechanism and the stock seatbelt mount. The seat is definitely a tight squeeze but I love it. Im about 5'10 and 175 lbs and wouldnt want to be much bigger but man does this seat make a difference. I will echo most comments about a bucket, it completely transforms the car. Feels like full go kart effect at this point

Nice looking seat.
Must be shaped somewhat like Buddyclub or Bride if it's a tight squeeze at 175 ?
