One of my rear fin brackets broke off this weekend. Jimmied together a new one with some spare crap i had lying around the garage. I think one of the "new" pieces is the old bracket from my OEM Airbox lol.

Oh the joys of owning this kit

Except that this is authentic

The bracket (that broke) was custom-made by me because the included brackets fell off after i lost the bolts while driving. I expected this to happen sooner or later though as I used a pretty thin piece of aluminum for the bracket. My aggressive suspension is also putting alot of extra strain on parts/supports at the extreme ends of my car. I've already broken a couple brackets up front as well that i've had to have rewelded. New springs and a shock revalve have been on my list for a long time now. Just have not been able to get around to it.

It's definitely not the fault of the quality of the kit. I can guarantee you that, with all the car has been through, this kit would have been destroyed beyond repair by now if it was anything less than authentic.

I waited 3 weeks after paint before applying the clear bra.

Agreed, I can't get past how well the lines on this car flow, extremely well put together.

Last week this happened:

Suffice to say, it sucks when you don't have control over what happens to the car sometimes.

Already had a valve adjustment scheduled so went through with that on Sunday:

Wish I could try it out lol. parts will be going in for repair this weekend. Some other things might be on the way soon as well..............
