Nice progress! Been debating those mirrors for awhile, is any additional drilling needed?

Had these in my phone, cleaned up before going to the bodyshop. Got a call today, should be done next Monday at the bodyshop, the bill increased slightly since I dropped it off but I guess that's life. I can't wait to get it back!

also we had some good snow not long ago here in TX! This is the heaviest snow we've had in my 32 years of life. I got some cool pics!

Well not too bad, added $500 to my bill to cut the front underside webbing out where it meets the windshield to shift the whole top foward, and grind out under where the top meets the trunk light to make it even. Hopefully it will be done next Wednesday!

Ouch, $3650 for just the hardtop? If so, you are pretty close to authentic pricing.

No the top was $2100 shipped, installation and paint is now $2050. Seems like a lot but if you want it done right, painted inside and out, headliner, windows sealed in etc... it costs.
As far as authentic goes, I don’t get off to name brands and I don’t like how the Spoon doesn’t have the side window. The shop made it seem like the fitment was horrible but in my opinion, it was pretty good. That and I hear the Spoon fits the worst. All in all I just want it right regardless of the money, but you are correct...ouch

I dislike Spoon.

But to spend $4000 to fit a piece of replica fibreglass to your car? Seems a bit asinine. But oh well, your car, your money, your definition of OEM+

you seem to be hung up on my initial OEM plus platform, and like I said before it has evolved into wanting more. And your opinion of how I spend my money is of no concern, when you grow up you can spend that amount of money more freely yourself. Not breaking me bud. I could say the same thing about spending money on a old Honda with rusted out quarters , but I don’t. It was a waste of 11k to slap some fake tits on my wife too, but it makes me happy

As long as it makes you happy and don't mind spending the money for it. I'm assuming you are using oem hardtop seals for it?

Spoon did make some with windows, it's the Bulletproof remix, unfortunately it's super rare and hard to find of course. I've only seen a couple authentics for sale. Funny, I have never heard or seen Spoon parts fitting bad, J's is a different story, their body fitment is pretty rough. I only mentioned authentic because they usually fit really well.
