Damn! Choosing wheels for a heavily modified S is proving much harder than expected. Unfortunately I don’t have Forgeline money for this build to get custom wheels done, so finding the right offset/width at around $750/wheel (Canadian) isn’t easy. I also want them as light as possible obviously. The RPF1 looked like a great choice: very light and under budget but I can’t get the proper offsets. I need 18x10 25et fronts and 18x11 25et rears (ideally) or 18x10.5. So now looking at the NT03RR or RS05RR also from Enkei. Pics below

Well the tire and wheel dilemma is settled (for now). I went with a set of Enkei PF01 that my builder had in stock from a cancelled order and as they say: “he made me an offer I couldn’t refuse”! Haha ... so with the savings on the wheels I decided to splurge on a set of Michelin Sport Cup 2 in 265 front, 295 rear.

Went to the shop yesterday to check out the progress and I have to say I am quite pleased! It’s turning out much better than I expected. I mean hell it’s almost looking more like a show car than a track car!! Haha
here are a few pics:
Gotta say the APR C/F bits looks really good! Still left to go on is the front lip/undertray and the rad cooling plate.

And this is why there is black vinyl on the trunk lid, so that we have a uniform look from outside and reduce glare in back window. Also builder took time to install a black vinyl strip around the perimeter of the lexan glass.

Not much going on during this damn Beer Virus pandemic! But here are a few updates:
Sport Cups are in.
Quick clean up of engine bay and fresh paint on valve and coil cover.

What do you think about vinyl wrapping the front windshield surround? It might tie the hood / roof together really nicely, giving the car a proper 2-tone...
Flipping epic build, by the way! And, it came together quick.

Thanks for the kind words! ... the build itself started in November but only posted my build page in March. My builder is good, but not that good! Haha
