Oh shit, here we go. I have worked on him as much as I can. He prefers SCCA and Spec Pinata. The NASA Florida region has less around 10 SpecE30 drivers I believe.

That's a big part of it, yeah. I'm really familiar with that platform, the rulebook, and most of the drivers in that class, so thats a draw. Also, I'm literally surrounded by Miatas at my shop, and everyone I know pretty much is either racing one building one, or wants to build one. SE30 is much, much smaller around here, which is a shame because I would have heavily considered building one.
