This was supposed to be running last week

HAHA nice progress!

I had a question about those Import Muscle brackets. Are they directly attached to the body? Where are motor mounts?

They are solid mounts meaning no polyurethane bushings

LSx motors run pretty smooth so it isn't a problem. If you were to try solid mounts with the F series it would rattle your teeth out of your face

Unfortunately we have hit a couple of unforeseen issues with this particular build. This is not like any other swap that we have done. Example, I just dropped the sway bar at the machine shop to be modified. Our goal is still to take it to the track Thursday. I will keep you posted.

Bazurk is correct. The LS engines are butter smooth so solid mounts are not an issue. I had a bad motor mount on my AP1 and it damn near rattled the fender off the car.

My only worry for you would be whether or not those mount points are strong enough for the motor, the last thing I would want to see happen to your project is for the damn things to rip out.

I didn't know that about the LSx motors.

OK got some answers from Chase Bay finally. I have a couple of last minute parts coming in tomorrow. Now, if I can get work under control I can wrap this thing up.
