Thanks man, truth be told, the bt streaming feature alone makes it super convenient.

I know...less wires to deal with. Maybe if I see another good Pioneer deck since I don't want to buy a new modifry adapter.

Pioneer DEH-80PRS. This is the deck to get. To be honest, this deck outclasses the alpine deck I have big time in terms of flexibility for running active setup.

What's missing is the front USB port. I use it now to both charge and play the iPhone as it's close to the dash so I can use a GPS app while I'm at it. Where do you usually route the back USB cable? Is there a deck that has front and rear USB port and BT streaming?

My usb cable is routed to the side where that little cargo pocket is at. I have my ipod connected that way. My iphone is bluetooth. The bluetooth mic is horrible though for the alpine unit. Everyone that calls me cannot ever hear what I'm saying.

I don't answer any calls when I'm driving so I have no use for the BT call feature. Plus now that the Toda exhaust is so loud, I can't even really hear my passenger so forget about talking on the phone.

I think the PITA might be the change of the adapter. I'm still on the iPhone 4S so maybe I'll wait till I upgrade to the next phone before I buy a new deck.

It is a female usb cord so you can run either ipod cable connector.

I've got the DEH-80PRS and it looks awesome in the S2000. Doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like the majority of aftermarket radios. Great thing about it is it's TWO rear USB inputs. That, combined with it's BT, CD, and SD slot make it super usable.

It is a great deck. I chose the alpine unit only because I could match my dash color and was running passive crossover with my components. If I didn't get the deal I did on the component set. I would have pieced together some good tweeters with silver flute drivers to run active. Like I said, that pioneer deck is superior in features. The guys on diyma rave about the head unit.
