That is the same reason I decided to try the 80PRS(active). Have been a long time alpine fan but had to go with the deck that usb/bt as well as being active capable as I'm unsure if I'm going to run active or passive. I did have the HD149BT in my daily for a while and it is also a very user friendly and capable deck. Are you going to run a subwoofer?

I'm contemplating it but really due to the limited trunk space I'd rather not. I know there are a few options out there which can make best use of available space. The option I prefer is the jl stealth box. I don't really care for the sub but box alone would be nice with choice sub. I have a fifth channel off the amp which I can run a 8/10 if I decide. It's a mini project all together as I would have to sound deaden the trunk as well.

I'm in the same boat. Would love to not add anything to the trunk. Might deaden the passenger footwell, and epoxy a baffle to it in order to make an enclosure for a single JBL GTO 804. Same idea as the footwell enclosure, just more minimalistic construction. I'd advise against running those RCAs btw. I love their power wire but the RCAs they include in the kit aren't worth running.

It definitely does. The car is in need of a wash bad. Plus, I wasn't able to park in the garage the past week due to the exhaust being in there lol.
