Skyline swapped s2000 rb25
****Update pg. 4>>>> Jun. 22 2015****
Updates pg. 2 >>>> Jan. 26, 2015
Hello everyone. I know some will like and some will hate but figured I'd share my build. When it is finished I'm going to do an in depth post on everything. But for now please follow my Facebook page which is posted below and I'll post pics soon on here when I figure out how. Sorry haven't used s2ki for awhile and the phone makes it difficult to post pics. All the work is done by me.
Also to give you some quick history on my s2k. My prior set up before ditching the f20 was a fully built inline pro block, custom top mount equal length sheepey turbo manifold, borgwarner s363 turbo, Inline Pro Nissan 300zx different set up. And gutted pretty good for max light weight. Although I never made it to the rollers for final tuning I was looking at 500-520 on 93 octane and capable of so much more with different fuel.
Anyways sold everything and picked up a complete rb25det series 2 swap including engines, trans, ecu, etc for $2100 shipped to my door. So you can say I pocketed a lot of money after selling the f20 stuff. Please comment away with how you feel good or bad I don't mind and I'm open to advise on anything you might think I should do with the rb into s2k chassis. Thanks!!!!!!!
Right so out with the old.
Swap has arrived
Mounts and sub frame cut
Trans mount
Mounts primered. Just temporary for now till it's powder coating time.
In place
******UPDATE******* Dec. 19th 14
Since I removed the front cross member and didn't want to run a bar directly in front of the engine because obviously I'm not going for handling here but definitely want to keep structural support throughout. So this is my solution plus it looks cool. Haha. I'm open to all thoughts good and bad. Maybe point out something that never crossed my mind. So anything helps!

Not only you have now heavier harder to fit engine that has same kw output (including turbo!) as F20C, worst part is that you got the wrong RB engine.... RB26DETT would have been so much cooler.

Sweet, get rid of your sweet built turbo F20 and (attempt to) put a garbage, heavy, slow, awful sounding Nissan engine in your S. Sounds like a great idea. And this thread is awesome too, I think it's actually better without pictures of this Frankenstein engine swap...

Anyone saying that an RB25DET is a garbage engine obviously hasn't worked with them. Man, sometimes the ignorance on this forum still catches me by surprise, even when it shouldn't.
