My custom intercooler from Bell. I can't say enough positive things about the guys over there. I ordered it on a Thursday, and it shipped out on the following monday. Fabrication is to notch, and the price wasn't bad either!

Soda can for size reference purposes.

I also got all new fiberglass body panels, from Honeybourne Mouldings in the UK, courtesy of Mini Mania in Nevada City, CA.

New parts include:
Stock fenders, hood, trunk lid, doors, and hard top. Total, this should shave about 70-75 lbs off the car (not including the hard top)

Not the best pic, but you get the idea.

And a couple more pics of the intercooler in the engine bay. Directly under it is the massive oil cooler, and in front is a new Koyo S2000 radiator.

Found a couple pics of the fiberglass panels mocked up on the car. Reason for going with these fenders is so we could modify them specifically for the application and get the shape we were looking for. The grey ones I had before were still too narrow, so It makes more sense to start from scratch than butcher a good set.

Another exciting part: My custom fuel cell from Pyrotect. Capacity is just over 14 gallons. Nylon internal tank with foam. Dual corner pickups, low pressure pump feeding to an internal swirl pot, high pressure pump out. Fuel sender to work work with stock TR6 fuel gauge.

Just another quick update:

Radiator fans/shrouding is prettymuch done. Water lines (aluminum) are being finished up. Next steps after this is inner fenders.

Thanks guys. I think it's a pretty awesome project too, but I am a little biased.

Is there another forum it should be in for more exposure?
