Found out there's lots of fees my parents didn't disclose... Off to the Junkyard it goes.
Going to junkyard my 03 Landrover Freelander in a week or 2 but figured I'd post it here if anyone is interested. Located in Fremont 94555
It is black. Driver side panels keyed (1 line across all 3 panels I think). The body besides the paint is in decent condition. No accidents. The car does not run so I don't know how a sale like this would go even. It will have to be towed and I believe I would have to get a salvaged title for it. It has been sitting in the backyard for about 2 years. The car has probably over 150000 miles on it but the motor has been replaced or rebuilt (parent's car so not too sure on details) probably 4 years ago. Parents stopped driving the car because I believe the AC Condenser is broken and the car will fog up constantly. It is a LandRover and it is a money sink (especially this model I believe).
Only posting this in case someone with more time/knowledge wants to part this car out for more cash. You can probably get it running again with a new battery, fluids, and tires.
Spending next week grabbing some quotes from junkyards. Toss me a better offer and we can work something out. This will probably be gone within 2 weeks unless I run into some issues with the junkyards.
Price wise, I will say $800 obo. Price is probably high but lowball me
