Default Beater/Project for sale

Not sure if anyone is interested but I thought I would post this if someone local has a need for a cheep DD or wants a project.

I have a 2005 Beige Acura RSX - It is a base with no options - Cloth, manual tranny.

I am planning on trading it in for a new DD in the next couple weeks. I am the original owner the car, and it has 162,000 miles. The body is in mediocre shape, scraped front lip, dinged up rear bumper, door dings, interior is solid for a 5 year old car but needs a detail. The clutch is original and probably has 10-15,000 miles left at most, tires and breaks will need to be replaced in the next few months. Aside from that the car is in good mechanical shape, gets 31-33 mpg in combined driving.

The car is ideal for someone who does their own work, or is looking for a shell for a project.

I would rate this car as in fair condition - Fair
$4,925

* Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition.
* Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional.
* Tires may need to be replaced.
* There may be some repairable rust damage.

My trade in value is 3220 - And I have gotten two quotes at that price-point from dealers.

If someone wants a base rsx that will need quite a bit of work - 4,000 may be a fair deal for the right buyer - But that price is fairly firm since I can trade it in without spending any time, effort or concern.

If you have any interest send me a pm and i'll take some photo's of warts of the car. Please be clear this a project if you are looking for a turnkey DD - this is not the car for you. Its an adult driven car that has been a workhorse for years. Its reliable and dependable but for a prospective owner, they will need to put money into this car for it to be a reliable DD for them. Hence the right car for someone who does their own work or wants a shell.

Thanks for looking at my post - Send me a PM if interested

Sweet. Doesn't sound like a bad deal. I'm looking for a beater a little bit older though.

"The drivetrain will fit into these cars to make a normal Civic or Accord into a 4 wheel drive monster"- I have a hard time believing this.... the rsx sounds like a much better deal!
