Sales tax deduction? Really? Do you have to save every single receipt for everything you buy?

I guess I'll be finding an accountant next year.....
Turbo Tax can handle it. I think you only want to do the sales tax deduction when you buy a car unless you really have added up all your receipts...

I'm guessing the S2000 Invoice price has gone up some?

I bought my 2003 S2000 brand new for Invoice. I paid $29,170.

From what your saying, invoice is now $30,154.99. So invoice went up by nearly $1,000. Ouch.
sk02rsx let's see.... add $500.00 and ..........

S2-Raw,

I think that Blair means to add $500.00 to $29,654.99 to come up with a total of $30,154.99 as the invoice price.

That being the case, then yes, it does look like the dealer invoice price has increased almost $1,000 from the time you purchased your car. To me, the price increase kinda makes sense cuz in 2004, Honda tweaked the car somewhat with the new engine, new front/rear end and other minor changes.

People have a choice, they do not have to buy their car with Blair. I don't believe that Blair would lie to us to sell a car.

I bought my car through Blair at the end of February 2005 and he was honest and straight up with me. I was in negotiations with Blair since Thanksgiving 2004 and he told me then that he would sell me my car at invoice. He kept his word while we waited for my car to be shipped from Japan. From the time he promised me to sell it to me for invoice to the time of delivery, that was a 3 month time period where he could have reneged on the invoice sale offer, but he didn't. Blair has a good reputation amongst us Bay Area S2000 owners.

Just my $0.02.

What on earth does "add $500 and" mean?

Here in America, people use complete senteces. That way people can understand what you are trying to say instead of trying to crack codes.

BTW, you never answered my question. I bought my S2000 for invoice ($29,170)
Are you saying invoice has gone up by $1,000 dollars since I bought my S2000 or are you just lying to us so you can sell some cars?
I'll try not to give into a little flaming here... As the business development manager here at Elk Grove Honda, I don't make a CENT on any S2000's I sell, any body with a computer could find out the invoice price in about 2 seconds...so lie??? I have never had to lie about selling cars or anything else, I have an excellant rep with all members of this site and will ignore your baiting.. I merely try to open the door for more members to get an excellant price on this wonderful vehicle..

Great, that's good to know. I was wondering if Invoice had gone up by $1,000. I thought that seemed kind of high. So I asked a simple question and was answered by short, smart remarks.

I'm glad you were able to answer my question directly. Thank You.
