What a weekend!!!

I picked up my car last wednesday from Elk Grove Honda. All week I couldn't wait for the weekend to come so I can take the car for a spin.

My gal and I took off from the Oakley area Saturday and headed down to Union City and the Fremont, CA area. We headed down in the area to show off the car to friends and family. They were impressed to say the least.

It was an awesome drive with the top down though it was just 680 and 880. Boy I can now imagine driving the car on twisties like Highway 1 by the coast. One thing too -- I haven't revved it as much as I would love to. My fingers and feet are itching to floor but I will take it easy and break it in right.

Anyway, I hope we can have a drive sometime soon along the CA coast....

How abt a group drive on 8/12 10am from SF Golden Gate Park down to Santa Cruz? We can stop some places in Hwy 1 to snap some nice pics.

Came back to San Diego from Thunderhill via H1. When I wasn't having a ball swerving around curves, I was enjoying the scenery while awaiting the opportunity to pass that slow truck or RV. Great ride, but not as much fun as Thunderhill.
