I need some advice regarding my speeding ticket I received going 280 North near Eastwood Ave. Here's the scoop on what happened:

I was heading North on 280 in the second to right lane looking to exit Eastwood Ave. I noticed there was a car to my right going the normal speed limit so I decided to acceralate since the exit was coming up really quickly and pass him. Before I knew it, CHP followed me off on the on-ramp and cited me for 77 mph in a 65 mph zone. I have my court date tomorrow morning. I have a clean record now but only because I took traffic school in the past which was in May of 2003. I know traffic school should be every 18 months and it's only been about 10. Is there a possibility if I plead guilty tomorrow and explain my situation to the judge that he or she will grant me traffic school? Please give me some input and advice. Thank you.

 

Don't ask the judge for traffic school. If he brings it up, then tell him you would like to take it. Let the judge bring it up. That's worked for my friend many times. Just a suggestion.
