Default Any of You Try the UK Exhaust Mod?

Came across this thread in the SoCal forum about the mod. Any of you locals try it out? Experiences?

I'd like to retain the stock exhaust on my Ap2, so this mod intrigues me.

I've heard it, I forgot who though.
It sounds meaner, nicer, and still quiet.

Look up on the norcal FB page. Serge has done this mod for a few people and has a lot of experience. He also has pics, vid's and sound clips.

I have a guy in burlingame (Burlingame Muffler) that can do this.

The UK people didn't necessarily invent this, it's just a "muffler bypass".

Get the CR muffler instead of slapping more metal onto an already heavy exhaust.

hey there! i have the UK exhaust mod on my car and i LOVE it. i went with 1 1/4 piping for the bypass and i think it is perfect for daily driving, and at vtec it is amazing. i have received many compliments on it, and from friends who have wanted to hear it and are going to do it. it only costs 3 dollars or less for the piping and like 70 at a muffler shop in san bruno i went to. DO IT
