ive been wanting to get an intake for a while now..and was leaning towards a comptech icebox. but now that ive seen the arc intake..i just denno which one to get. i personally like the arc cause it looks nicer..but i denno how they both perform. can anyone tell me which one makes a difference and the sound of it etc..? anything would help..thanks.

 

ive actually never see a dyno off of a arc...i dont think it makes any power

 

IMO- i would go with the comtech.

 

tHE arc IS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR LOOKS ONLY FROM WHAT I HEAR....BUT DONT QUOTE ME ON THAT...

 

Arc is one of the best Hot Air intakes around!
As a result you often loswe 2-3 whp by adding it.

 

I would go for the comptech air box if you are looking for performance.

i actually went with the comptech intake. thanks to aaron. but the thing is..i dont like the fitting with the cusco strut bar. basicly..it was a b*tch to put on.

 

LOVE MY COMPTECH! thanks to California-S2K

had to give up my Spoon Strut Bar for it but - well worth it!
