there are so many of us around here i think it would be a good idea to form a local s2000 club so that we can enjoy our stooks in good company. i.e. lunch meets, weekend drives, groups to racing events, local group buys or whatever else comes to mind. i've purchased bays2k.com, and once my personal computer arrives i'll have a chance to build on it. unless someone else wants to jump the gun?

Sounds great to me. I just picked up my car last weekend and quickly put 250 miles on it... now it's raining and I don't think it will ever stop. The car's in the garage. I go out for a 'sit' every now and then.

Buy the way, any boardmember own the Silver S2k somewhere near Brokaw Rd, and Zanker? I'm guessing someone else works near me and has the S. Was a little sad that my exclusitivity was gone but, if their a boardmember it'll make it a little easier to bear. People on this board seem to really appreciate the car as much as I do.

That might be me. I live by Brokaw and 280. I commute a lot around Brokaw / 1st (my work). I saw another Stook by Fry's I think. Mine is a silver 01' stock (for now).

Mind if my wife and I drop in from Reno sometime this spring?
My best guess is that we have 8 or so S2K's in this area, but only 2 others have made it to this board. I'm going to try to get everyone in touch, but in the mean time I'd really like to do a road trip with "the bay area guys". I've met davepk already. Looking forward to meeting others.
