Bay Area Pedal Bike thread
Seems there is more people in to road biking now so why not start a thread?
I'm a super noob... Met Noel (damuho) over the weekend, super cool guy, very nice!
I need to get a few things before I can go on group rides..
But question: what does everyone wear? I don't really want to wear spandex.. I'm not chasing 1/10th's. Right now it's just a shirt and bball shorts.
Suggestions?

The spandex shorts will help a lot on hot days if you take long rides.
I started climbing like 2 months ago, and the pants and jerseys help alot if you sweat.
Just last Sat I broke in my new road bike (Cannondale Six 6) up Old La Honda, down 84 to San Gregorio, Stage, Pescadero, then up West Alpine.
70 miles, 6000ft of climbing. Yes, I was in pain.

BTW, the word is not spandex. It's Lycra.
anyhoo. Let's have a S2ki Bike Sunday. It's easy ride and those who wish to do harder ride can connect to Old La Honda.

starting point of Canada x 92hwy to Robert's Market (there's a refill station there) is about 5 miles. Do able in about 30 min easy pace. This is the turn around point for those wanting to go back and those wanting to continue to Old La Honda.
