I had San Bruno Muffler do it a while back, but they closed down. There may be a shop in the South Bay, I remember someone posting about it a little while ago.

I thought they would do it (a lot of the classic car guys at my work go there to have him fab up their exhausts.) I was planning on swinging by soon and asking about it.

When did you get yours done and how much did it cost?

Thanks

About a year ago when I bought the S I had it done. I want to say it was right around 100-120$. I gave my original receipt to the person who bought my exhaust so I can't check. I am now running the Invidia Q300 now. I opted for the 38mm piping and it was pretty perfect sounding. Oh and take a couple of photos to refresh his memory just in case. Goodluck!

Thanks, look's like they are on break until August. I'll swing by then and see if I can get it done.

What exactly is the mod? I know what it sounds like but whats the process? I'm pretty sure most muffler shops could do it if i could explain to them exactly what it is but i dont really know.

It's the addition of some extra pipes to I believe bypass some of the baffles in the muffler.

If you read through this thread it should explain it.

And I'm sure that you are correct and that most muffler shops should be able to do it.

Great thread! I like to keep the original look of the exhaust tips and I've been actually wanting to get this UK mod done. Perhaps, we can all do it at once if any muffler shops can do it in the Bay Area.
