Default busted 4 modified front lights/Fremont

cruising w/ a few friends G35 and 350Z to ATP in Fremont for dyno day...Officer Rosette (SUV police truck) pulled me over in ATP parking lot, in front of everybody...said id had modified front corner lens, and that a car must have amber reflexive lens...he then went down the list, check all my light signals for violation...he checked under my hood (lucky for me my K/N filter is in the factory box) he said he was surprise it was stocked ...gave me a tint violation, since im a auto tinter i didnt care, ripped the tint out right in front of him...i assked to give me a break, cause id tinted lots of their K-9 units and other city work vans...bastard, i even showed him a few cop friend business cards, he didnt give a sh1t...no front plate and modified corner lens, both he check not a fix-it ticket

of all the old Zs, new Zs, G35s, WRXs and Viper he picked on the "Cooler Looking Convertible Car" mannnnnn.......what a sucki day...can i fight any of this violations?

Watch out when you are in Fremont

They are all fix it tickets, regardless if he checked the box or not.

It is better that it is not a fix it ticket, otherwise, you'd have to get some stock headlights.

Do you have clear diffusers installed, or no diffusers (naked)?

I thought in California, it is okay to have amber OR white turn signals.

I wonder if there is some law about having an amber reflector somewhere on the front?

Does anyone know?

the front lights must have amber, but not just amber, reflexive amber lens...no amber tape aloud too...i have blue bulb that shines white on turn signals and side-markers...he point to his SUVs lights "gotta have amber reflexive lens"

S2Sav- ill check in w/ my cop friends tomorrow to make shore...minor infraction, i usually get away w/ when i showed them all my cop friends card (get out of trouble cards) and that would be it, but this Rosette fella.....man...

Rosette said its all on file, if i dont fix it the next time the fine gonna double and third time it will be a moving violation

i had my light UV protective film/tint on for three years i had no problems until Rosette...but little does he know the tint was back on this morning ... w/ teh sun and heat in my face i felt so nake driving home w/out my tint...

If you have the time, look at the CVC codes to see if it is "correctable." About the fines increasing, that is BS. I've had over 10 fix-it tickets (6-8 of them are for my reluctancy to put on my front plate) and they are just the usual fee of $10 with a cops signature.
